This is the most people I've seen happy together in a long time, maybe ever.
Something has finally lifted.
Is it our spirits? Is it the wool over our eyes?
Whatever it is, we are starting to talk. FINALLY, the anxiety is melting away.
Are we the only one who is feeling like this? Do we know what we are doing? Will it change a damn thing if we try?
These questions have expired. We know better now.
In the news, they like to call this thing in Liberty Plaza politics. Go to school for it if you want to (doesn't mean you'll get a job). But if you ask me, never mind the university.
We don't have to be pundits.
WE ARE ALIVE. WE HAVE EXPERIENCES. and WE - ARE - THE AUTHORITY on the quality of our lives.
