The more people come to the general assemblies, the harder it is to hear and communicate quickly and efficiently, not to mention it gets a little pedantic after a while. Using radio frequencies is a good idea, but having personal radios might be a bit bulky. Why not use our phones somehow. Do you think most people have smartphones out there? Could we use the technology we have to sync the phones of users in the immediate vicinity to communicate more effectively? What if we created daily Twitter accounts where all the speakers (one by one of course) would pass their messages to all those present at the general assemblies by typing it into their phone (or perhaps using this program Dragon that translates speech to typography). Everybody would then quickly and easily understand and react to the discussion at hand and it would also be recorded for future reference. Comments? Additional ideas?
